Short Bio
Joy Isoyiza Usman, is a senior scientific officer with the Advanced Space Technology Application Laboratory (ASTAL) in the South-West, a subdivision of the National Space Research Development Agency (NASRDA). Joy Isoyiza has three years professional experience working alongside a team of top scientists from various fields who are specialized in Remote Sensing and GIS applications for environmental and space science development, with focus on the South-Western region of Nigeria. Joy’s specific forte is Geography, with special interests in climate, health and geoinformatics. She is a great team player, a goal oriented and committed hard worker with positive energy and precision. Joy Isoyiza is inspired daily by her deep belief in humanity. In her spare time, she loves reading, listening to music, spending time with close family and friends and also, enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes.
Current Research/Duties
Joy Isoyiza Usman is currently working on a project that involves the use of geospatial technology in assessing the relationship between urban forestry, urban heat island and human health.
